Renewal by Andersen network helps dislocated employees
Hurricanes Harvey and Irma left a wake of devastation and destruction—but they also demonstrated the strength of the Renewal by Andersen network.
Fortunately, all of our Houston and Orlando employees were safe. However, many of them lost homes or belongings; still others were at least temporarily displaced as they work to assess and repair the damage. In addition, the warehouse and office facilities for Orlando sustained major damage and were rendered a complete loss.
Immediately, other Renewal employees from all across the country asked “How can we help those locations and their employees who have been affected?”
An “adopt a family” program was started, allowing individuals or locations to adopt affected Renewal families, and send them supplies such as food, water, clothing, toiletries and personal items, as well as gift cards for groceries, sundries, and transportation. Also included were toys and games for the children.
Response was instantaneous and overwhelming. Says Bob and Julie Birner (owners of RbA of Houston): “The gratitude from people reaching out to us is amazing. The power of this network will help all of us get through this difficult situation. Thank you all for your support.”

Shopping for replacement windows can be a daunting task. Researching options is hard enough—trying to picture what they’ll actually look like on your home makes it harder. You shouldn’t have to rely on your imagination to make the right decision. That’s why we’re excited about our new mobile app – Renewal by Andersen 3D.
The app generates a 3D rendering of your home based on photos you upload, letting you visualize window options directly on their home, making the window buying process that much easier (and let’s face it, more fun).
